MAINTAINING A SEPARATE MEDICINE BOX FOR EACH PATIENT
As soon as a patient is diagnosed, a box containing complete 6-month quota of medicines is earmarked for him; his name is written on it and it is set-aside for him. Each patient has an exclusive box from which only he – and no one else – is given strips. So, treatment never fails due to drug-shortage. Besides, maintaining patient-wise boxes (instead of loose tablets or strips) simplifies drug logistics and stock management – yet another brilliant feature of this new program.
